I’m a twentysomething English girl, working in publishing, reading voraciously.

I don’t have any set preferences when it comes to what I do and don’t read – I try to be open minded and just pick up anything that takes my fancy. During my English Lit degree, I was exposed to a lot of books I never thought I’d enjoy and found I did – so whilst I’m no longer ploughing through 800 pages of George Eliot, I like to expand my reading horizons where I can.

Reading time is precious, so whilst I’ll try to set aside as much time as I can for reading (usually during my commute), I don’t always fit in as much as I’d like. However, I’m hoping that keeping a book blog with give me the impetus I need to keep reading and keeping up with all goings-on in the world of books.

The books I review here are a mix of titles from Netgalley and books I’ve purchased. Where the was received from Netgalley in return for a non-biased review, I’ll say so.

Also – whilst I work in publishing – it’s for an educational press, so none of my reviews here are biased towards a certain publisher.

Always looking for new book recommendations, love hearing from likeminded readers. Thanks for stopping by čÖé
