About

I’ve been an avid reader since I learnt to pick up the book. Originally from the university town of Cambridge, England, I’ve also lived in China and I’m now based in the U.S.

When I tell people I work in Publishing, one of the first things they ask is ‘What do you like to read?’ I find this hard to answer, as I really don’t have any set preferences. I try to be open-minded and pick up whatever takes my fancy – which accounts for the eclectic mix on here.

The books I review are a mix of titles from Netgalley and books I’ve purchased or borrowed from the library. I’ll always be honest in my thoughts, and never review books that I have had any influence in editing/marketing!

Always looking for new book recommendations, love hearing from likeminded readers.

And would it have been worth it, after all,
Would it have been worth while,
After the sunsets and the dooryards and the sprinkled streets,
After the novels, after the teacups, after the skirts that trail along the floor –
And this, and so much more?
